Way too many people in the United States are affected by cancer and STDs each year. But Goodie Impact Pre-Accelerator: Hack Cancer + STDs  is meant to change that. It is a 3-month program where founders see their ideas about ways to help those currently or potentially affected by cancer get turned into reality. This Hackathon For Developers, Phase III in the pre-accelerator, is a 48 hour experience where developers, web designers, and product managers donate their talent, and join the teams of these founders in an effort to turn their clickable prototypes that combat cancer into working products. This is your chance to help those impacted by cancer, and possibly win money and other prizes. It’s a mashup of social good, tech, entrepreneurship and highly-skilled people, and, quite possibly, the coolest community service project you’ll ever experience.       This event serves as one part celebration, and one part fundraiser for our Hack 4 Cancer + STDs initiative which includes our Impact Pre-Accelerator, College Impact programming, and K-12 Impact programming as well as infrastructure.  :: Event Overview :: Here's your chance to party well, and do good at the same time. Our first hackathon took place in March 2014. What was originally intended to be a one-time project has blossomed into three divisions (Impact Pre-accelerator, College Impact Pathways, and K-12 Impact), 20+ impact initiatives launched, 4000+ people engaged, and much much more. Celebrate our 4 years with a dope group of professionals in business, tech, social impact, entertainment, and more over drinks and good music in an awesome location!
